2. What data we collect

• Account & contact data (name, email, country)
• Payment metadata (tokenised by Stripe; no full card numbers stored)
• Pledge details (tier, amount, VAT status)
• Product/beta usage, support tickets, community posts
• Device/analytics data (cookies/SDKs, IP, app version)

3. Why we use it & legal bases

• Register pledges, deliver perks, send updates — contract/legitimate interests
• Run analytics, prevent fraud/abuse — legitimate interests
• Send marketing where you opt-in — consent
• Meet tax/accounting/legal duties — legal obligation

4. Sharing & processors

We use trusted providers, including Stripe (payments), [email tool], [analytics/CDP], [error logging], and hosting on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1). We sign DPAs and require appropriate safeguards.

5. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the EEA/UK (for example by certain processors), we use EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the UK IDTA/Addendum, plus technical and organisational measures.

6. Retention

Pledge/invoicing data: 6–10 years (tax/audit). Account/support data: while you have an account + 12 months. Analytics cookies: as disclosed in the Cookie Policy.

7. Your rights (EU/UK)

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability, and withdraw consent for marketing/cookies at any time. Make a request via privacy@moventa.io or our Rights Request Form. We respond within one month (extendable by up to two months for complex cases, with notice). We may ask for limited info to verify identity. Requests are free unless manifestly unfounded or excessive. UK residents may complain to the ICO; EU residents to their local authority.
